We decided to change that… After a few JD’s, a fair bit of grease splatter and some high-grade patty experimentation – Mary’s was born. A defibrillator, right to the heart of the scene. And much to our surprise, the flat line flickered.
But if we’re being totally honest here, Burgers aren’t our main squeeze. We’re also builders of venues, ambassadors of the arts, curators of culture, mavens of musical madness and disciples to the lost art of a night out. Amongst other things. One big family. The non- nuclear kind. With an open-door policy that sees all manner of waif and weirdo drifting in at all hours. And as long as we’re still kicking, that door will remain wide open.

Four nights a week, you can pick from a smorgasboard of music and acts ranging from jazzy adults-only cabarets to grungy rock and indie artists. On the menu, you’ll find OG Mary’s burgers and trashy-but-good American diner faire.

P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants is a purveyor of amazing Australian and imported natural wines, a supporter of local and craft beers, a dealer in Australian and unique, artisan spirits, sake, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. We also educate and put on events. We are very cool. Seriously.

The Unicorn is the quintessential Aussie pub, including a proud reclaimed red gum bar, native flora and fauna illustrations and serving up good old fashion pub grub.
