Third Eye Stimuli Records: Lockdown Playlist

There ain’t no rest for Third Eye Stimuli Records. It seems like every couple of weeks the Sydney/Wollongong record label releases something new, forever expanding their discography of Aussie psych/garage gems.

And it’s all consistently great. From the hip-shaking rock ‘n’ roll of Rosa Maria to the pummeling shoegaze of PEEL, each Third Eye Stimuli release is right on the money.

If you’ve ever seen any of their artists live before, chances are you’ve also seen the TES crew giving the DJ decks a bit of lovin’. So, to ease you into another weekend, we’ve asked the team to share a playlist of tracks that’ll keep you moving in lockdown.

“We mixed a bit of a Third Eye Stimuli cocktail featuring some of our new releases from Rosa Maria, PEEL, The Oogars, Sunfruits and Chet Sounds, along with other Aussie bands we love and some international bands that we have on high rotation,” they say of the playlist.

“Expect to hear ample fuzz and reverb, vintage guitars, dark synth jams, groovy percussion and tasteful rock numbers.”
